We’re nonprofits, for starters, which means we pass our profits on to you through better rates and lower fees. It also means we don’t have shareholder interests to cater to, only members. When you become a Dirigo Federal Credit Union member, your financial needs become as important to us as they are to you.

Who can join?

We welcome anyone who:

  • Lives, works, worships, or attends school in the counties of Androscoggin, Cumberland, Franklin, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Sagadahoc, Somerset, or York, or has an immediate family member who is a Dirigo member in good standing
  • Can provide a photo ID, such as your driver’s license or passport
  • Opens and maintains a Share Account with a minimum balance of $25
